2. Data Protection Officer

The appointment of a data protection officer is not legally required for our company, as we generally employ fewer than 20 persons on a permanent basis for the automated processing of personal data (Section 38 (1) BDSG). 3. General Information on Data Processing

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Our website is designed to collect as little personal data as possible.

Our website uses:

  • No cookies
  • No tracking tools or analytics software
  • No external CDNs or embedded third-party resources
  • No data transfers to third countries

4. Server Log Files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These include:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the requested file
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in ensuring the trouble-free operation of the website).

Storage duration: Log files are automatically deleted after 7 days.

5. Email Contact

When you contact us by email, the data you provide (e.g., name, email address, content of your inquiry) will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and for possible follow-up questions.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in processing inquiries).

Storage duration: Your data will be deleted after your inquiry has been processed, but no later than 6 months, provided there are no legal retention obligations.

6. Applicant Data

When you apply to us, we process your application data (e.g., CV, cover letter, certificates) exclusively for the purpose of conducting the application process.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 BDSG (implementation of pre-contractual measures / establishment of an employment relationship).

Storage duration: Application documents will be deleted no later than 6 months after the conclusion of the application process, unless consent for longer storage has been given.

7. SSL/TLS Encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock icon in your browser bar.

8. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Right to Restriction of Processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

You have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data.

Right to Data Portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

You have the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format or to request its transfer to another controller.

Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR)

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for reasons arising from your particular situation.

Right to Withdraw Consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)

You have the right to withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.

9. Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR.
